I’ve used Google Docs a few times and really like it, expecially because it’s free, but I can’t ditch Word just yet.

Another option for online applications is Zoho, http://www.zoho.com. Although this site doesn’t have the drawing power of Google, I have found these online applications to be full of features.

I have to agree with Joe, Google Doc’s does make it very easy for us to collaborate on materials. We an all access it from anywhere without having to download and save anything.
