Sit Down and Pour a Glass of Wine

by Joe on July 28, 2008

Over the weekend my new tech coach and friend, Jon, sent me a link to Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams. After reading Dr. Pausch’s obituary in the New York Times I was finally inspired to carve out a little time this morning to watch this phenomenal video. Now, I’ve decided to not watch the whole thing and instead will be waiting until Kelly gets home later tonight to watch it with him. But based on the first ten minutes I can tell its going to be worth every moment. When you have a chance, pour yourself a glass of wine and sit down with your computer.

Email me at home so I can keep you in the address book. How’s it going? Ann and I want to come up and see you before school starts.

Marianne – I did stay up late last night and watched the whole thing. It was great. I liked the two “head fakes” at the end.

You should definitely watch the whole thing if you have not. The final message is very touching, besides all the neat things he got to do during his short life.
