My New Car

by Joe on July 11, 2008

My New CarWhile pouring my cereal this morning I found my new car. Its a lovely little NASCAR – number 43. Apparently Bobby Labonte drives one like it (thanks again Google!).

The funny part is that it startled me when it fell out. I initially thought it was a bug or a large clump of Cheerios that wasn’t processed correctly. Ironically, as a child the entire purchasing decision would have been based on this car and much to my mother’s dismay I would have secretly dug it out long ago. Just a reminder of how differently we think than our students.

My boys would have loved to have to this fall out into their bowl! I live with some young NASCAR fans, I am not sure how that happened. So far I have managed to keep them from noticing that some of these packages have toys in them, I sure that won’t last for long now that Alex is starting school.

“Cheerios. How with toxic leeched plastic residue! Yummm!”
