In just a few short weeks you have the opportunity to attend an edtech conference without having to beg for funding, book a flight, or make sub plans. The K12 Online Conference 2008 is just around the corner and all you need to attend is Internet access. If your schedule looks like mine, then you’ll love another nice feature of this conference – everything is online and available when you are ready for it. Last year I “attended” the K12 Online Conference primarily from my classroom as I ate lunch or from my car as I commuted to and from work. Every time I listened I picked up a new tip or strategy for using technology with my students.
When you have a few seconds to spare take a look at this year’s schedule and teasers (hint – click on the title of each teaser). I promise its worth the time to check out. I’m already looking forward to Web 2.0 Tools to Amplfy Students’ Creativity and Initiative, Connecting Classrooms Across Continents and Parental Engagement in the 21st Century. Oh and Paul, should you be reading – this one is for you!.
