Iraqi Blogger Round Up

While the story is from May, it reminded me of the power blogging has for connecting people through personal stories. Last summer during the Israel-Hezbollah-Lebanon conflict I found reading the accounts of regular people experiencing the fighting to be so much more interesting and personally insightful than what you could find on the news. I had this same experience a few weeks ago when the bridge collapsed in Minneapolis. Take a look at some of the blogs profiled in the story. Your perception of what it must be like to be a regular Iraqi citizen will definitely change. I know mine did. I even subscribed to a few of these blogs just to see what they might post during the next few months.
