Hulu for the Bob Ross Set

picture 5 300x143 Hulu for the Bob Ross SetIf the title of this post caught your eye, then you’re probably a bit of a PBS nerd like me.  Remember the good old days of Bob Ross?  I always thought he was a bit strange, but even from an early age I remember being mesmerized by what he could do with a little bit of paint!

Bob Ross is no longer with us and I think PBS has stopped running reruns of his show, but they still have tons of quality programming.  Personally, I’m a huge fan of NOVA, Frontline, and Rick Steves’ Europe.  I’ve even used a few different episodes of these shows in my own classroom.  Like many television shows, the only downside to these programs is that I’m usually not home to watch them when they air and I always forget to set the DVR to capture them.  Fortunately, as of today PBS has officially joined the ranks of NBC and FOX to form their own version of Hulu called PBS Video.

Personally, I think they need a catchier title, but I love the fact I can now watch some of my favorite PBS shows in a high quality format when from anywhere I have Internet access and at any time of the day or night.  Take a moment and check it out.  Since its Earth Week (at least here in California it seems to be) perhaps you’ll find NOVA’s Car of the Future or Frontline’s Heat timely episodes to show use in your classroom.

It is appropriate time to make some plans for the future and it’s time to be happy. I’ve read this post and if I could I desire to suggest you few interesting things or advice. Perhaps you could write next articles referring to this article. I wish to read more things about it!

It did catch my eye. I am a PBS junky (it was the ONLY channel that always came in clear). I also finally signed up for Hulu this week and love it so far. I can keep my fingers crossed for some old Square One episodes…
